Next Up

Betsy Layne Lady Cats

The Lady Cats had late opportunities in their semifinal matchup against Paintsville and narrowly missed returning to the championship game for the second straight year. Their energy and effort showed they can compete with anyone in the Top 5.

Prestonsburg Lady Blackcats

Rounding out the Next Up section are the Lady Blackcats. After a disappointing loss in the All β€œA,” Prestonsburg bounced back with a win over Pike Central. This team has the potential to make a strong push as the season progresses.
