This week’s APSN Boys Player of the Week honors go to Carter Parsons of the Pikeville Panthers.
Parsons led Pikeville to a perfect 2–0 week with wins over Rowan County and Pendleton County, showcasing his scoring ability on the biggest stages. His standout performance came against Rowan County, where he erupted for 40 points, knocking down 11 three-point baskets to tie a Pikeville school record.
He followed that effort with 15 points against Pendleton County, continuing his consistent production. Most importantly, Parsons’ play powered the Panthers into the Pikeville Invitational Championship game, where Pikeville capped the run with a win over Ashland.
For the week, Parsons averaged 27.5 points per game, earning him well-deserved APSN Player of the Week honors.
