No one has been hotter to start the season than Martin County’s Braxton Keathley. Keathley and the Martin County Cardinals faced off Wednesday night against Huntington Expression Prep. Despite a tough loss, Keathley delivered a dominant performance, pouring in 31 points and pulling down 14 rebounds for the homestanding Cardinals.
On Saturday, Martin County matched up with the Harlan Green Dragons, and Keathley once again shined. He scored 33 points and hauled in another 12 rebounds in the contest.
With averages of 32 points and 13 rebounds over the week, Keathley earned APSN Boys Player of the Week honors.
