APSN Girls Top 5 Rankings Remain Unchanged

The APSN Girls Top 5 rankings remain unchanged this week, as results continue to validate the current order.

1) Johnson Central

Johnson Central continues to roll against 15th Region opponents. Although the Lady Eagles suffered a loss this week, it came against Allen County–Scottsville. Until a 15th Region opponent knocks them off, Johnson Central will remain firmly in the No. 1 spot.

2) Floyd Central

Floyd Central continues to push ahead. The Lady Jaguars picked up impressive road wins last week over Martin County (#5), Lawrence County, and Pikeville (#3).

3) Pikeville

The Lady Panthers remain at No. 3. Pikeville traveled to Hazard and earned a victory over the 14th Region All “A” champions, then dropped a hard-fought home game to Floyd Central.

4) Paintsville

After a loss to Pikeville in the All “A” Championship, Paintsville rebounded nicely with a solid win over Magoffin County.

5) Martin County

The Lady Cardinals sit firmly in the No. 5 spot. After a tough loss to Floyd Central, Martin County closed out the week with two quality wins over Magoffin County and Pineville.
