East Ridge Defeats Ridgeview Behind Balanced Attack

The Ridgeview Wolfpack made the trip to the reservation Thursday night to take on the Warriors of East Ridge, but the hosts wasted little time setting the tone.

East Ridge jumped out early, scoring a season-high 23 points in the first quarter behind excellent pressure defense to take a 23–10 lead after one. The Warriors stayed hot in the second quarter, extending the lead to 40–22 at halftime. East Ridge connected on seven three-point baskets in the first half and forced multiple Ridgeview turnovers that led to easy scoring opportunities.

The second quarter belonged to sophomore Ayden Mullins, who poured in 10 points during the period to lead the Warrior charge.

The momentum continued after halftime, as East Ridge pulled away in the second half and cruised to a 75–51 victory.

The Warriors were led by Surplus Products Player of the Game Peyton Coleman. Coleman finished with a game-high 18 points, knocking down four three-point shots in the contest. The win improves East Ridge to 3–2 on the season.
