Prestonsburg used a dominant first half to take control early and defeat Powell County 65–31 on Saturday. The Lady Blackcats erupted for 52 points in the first two quarters, led by a spectacular 20-point first half from Jade Fitzpatrick. Powell County settled in defensively after halftime but could not overcome the early deficit despite a balanced scoring effort. Prestonsburg’s depth and fast offensive pace proved to be the difference as they cruised to the victory.
